As you may know that whenever you do job for any client on oDesk or Elance, he/she will definitely demand for a weekly report of you work done. Always create an attractive report for your work done ever if your client doesn't demand for it. Believe me, you will get a great and positive response from your client. Not the report only, but also the quality of your work must be excellent. So, both the quality of your work and attractive weekly report will win the heart of your client. Let me show you one of my experiences.

I had completed the weekly work for a client and created a weekly report. After creating my report, I submitted the report to client and I got a great response from him. This attractive weekly report of my work also shows all of my activities and quality of my work. Below is the weekly report screenshot, click it to see clearly. Solution for Zeek Rewards Website Access Problems/Issues

Welcome to my blog and let me share another tip with my visitors regarding problems of zeek rewards website when opening it.

Sometimes, zeek rewards website doesn't open or respond and we have to wait for hours and sometimes for a whole day, specially in cans of "504 Gateway Time-out" error or "502 Gateway Time-out" error. Sometimes, when we try to open the zeek rewards website, the browser keep browsing the website the the website doesn't appear. We refresh the page again and again the in vain. There can be other problems with zeek rewards website, when opening it.

Now let me tell you what to do when you face these type of problems. There is a single solution for all of the problems mentioned above and related to it. Just follow the below steps.

This is a simple method. We will use a proxy server to open a website.

1. Open website www.hidemyass.com 
2. Enter the Zeek Rewards website in text-box and click Hide My Ass! button.

Using this method, you will access the full zeek rewards website without any problem. I have also mentioned another method in 504 Gateway Time-out Error in Zeek Reward. Please see that post also, and don't forget to post your comments.

Solid Trust Pay is back in Zeek Rewards

Solid Trust Pay is back in  Zeek Rewards on 24-April-2012 at approximately 00:00 hours (Pakistan Standard Time). These was a temporary issue with their Solid Trust Pay account. I had discuss with Zeek Rewards official in live support and they were saying that Solid Trust Pay will back shortly, and now they fulfilled their promise.

"504 Gateway Time-out" Error in Zeek Rewards

Sometimes, when opening the Zeek Rewards website, the error "504 Gateway Time-out" occurs. This usually indicates that the upstream hosting server is down (no reaction to the gateway/proxy). Unfortunately, there is nothing that you can do to fix a 504 Gateway timeout issue.

The only way is to be patient and follow the steps below written in Blue color. The problem is solved by itself automatically or by the website or web-hosting server officials. Their penny auction website zeekler.com is OK and don't have this type of problems because that is not busy enough, while the zeekrewards.com is more busy than zeekler.com. 

Method # 1: (In this method, you will not be able to access the full website).
If you cannot get to ZeekRewards.Com currently please use this link to post your ads (while continually checking to see if you can get into ZeekRewards.Com before you do so daily):

1. Click this link
   
2. Log-in with your username and password
   
3. Place your ad for the day.

This really works. This alternative method is mentioned in Zeek Rewards News website.
This page is temporary for people who are unable to access ZeekRewards.com. Do not bookmark this page, it will eventually be removed.

Method # 2: (In this method, you can access the full website as usual).

This is also a simple method. We will use a proxy server to open a website.

1. Open website www.hidemyass.com 
2. Enter the Zeek Rewards website in text-box and click Hide My Ass! button.

Some of my friends get afraid when facing this type of problem "504 Gateway Time-out". Their is nothing to get worried about. This type of problems are being faced by a log of other websites too. Be patient.....

Solid Trust Pay will back in Zeek Rewards (Zeek Rewards Officials)

As most of zeek-rewards members know that they disabled the Solid Trust Pay payment processor. Initially, they were not responding to my inquiries regarding removal of Solid Trust Pay. But today, I have inquired them again through live support and they responded that their Solid Trust Pay account is having some problems, and they disabled it temporarily. They will enable Solid Trust Pay payment processor again after solving the problems.

Update: Zeek Rewards payment page also says "Solid Trust Pay will be available again shortly." Look at the screenshot below.

 

Solid Trust Pay disappeared from Zeek Rewards (Removed Solid Trust Pay)

Zeek Rewards removed Solid Trust Pay payment processor.
Solid Trusy Pay payment processor disappeared from Zeek Rewards. They have removed Soli Trust Pay, and their live support doesn't provide any reason about the removal of Solid Trust Pay. Now no-one can upgrade membership or purchase sample bids in Zeek Rewards through Solid Trust Pay. Do you think is it a move to become a scam for Zeek Rewards? For me, I think it is so... Zeek Rewards Scam OR Will Turn into Scam soon?

I have joined Zeek Rewards one week ago (April 09, 2012). Yesterday (April 15, 2012) I have upgraded my account to Silver using Solid Trust Pay payment processor. Now today (April 16, 2012) I want to purchase sample bids using Solid Trust Pay payment process, but when I reach the final payment method page, there is no Solid Trust Pay option. The Solid Trust Pay payment processor (option) disappeared now. When I contacted the Live Customer Support and started chat with them, they didn't replied my inquiries properly and they didn't explained to me why they have removed the Solid Trust Pay payment processor. I have asked them again again but they don't reply me properly and just disconnect the chat by saying "Thanks for chatting with us."

So, If they are dealing with a customer like this, what can we hope from this company? I don't think this company will stay long, I have already joined a lot of affiliate companies and they disappeared. I will appreciate the comments of readers.

Upwork Cover Letter Guidelines (What to include OR exclude)

I have been working on oDesk for that last 5 months (from now i.e April 12, 2012) and got good ideas about oDesk cover letter guidelines. I'm not saying that I have learned everything, but I am just sharing my personal experience. I will not write the long stories, but will try to mention the important points only.

What should you include in Cover Letter?

• Always write a unique cover letter for each job post.
• Write each of your cover letter individually, targeting the specific needs or requirements per job post.
• Always use the same keywords the employer did. This shows that you were paying attention to the job post.
• Answer specific questions or include special keywords the employer put in the job description to prove you can follow directions well.
• Provide links directly to some relevant examples of your work (if any). Make sure you've added the sample work in your portfolio.
• Try to inform the employer about your availability (when and how much you can work).
• Always find a gender-neutral way to say hello, say "Dear Hiring Manager" or use the employer's name (if they've mentioned it).

What should you exclude from Cover Letter?

• Don't start with a "To Whom It May Concern" or "Dear Sir" greeting. Neither adds any value and they may even offend some employers.
• Don't use one cover letter over and over again even if the job you are applying fall on the same category.
• Aside from sending generic and irrelevant contents.
• Cover letters should not contain any contact information (your email address, chat ID, etc.).
• Exchange of contact information can be made during the interview phase only.
• Don't start with a "To Whom It May Concern" or "Dear Sir" greeting.

A week ago, I had got a Spam Cover Letter warning from oDesk. The following was the ticket sent to me by odesk. Remember that if someone doesn't reply to this email warning within 24 hours, the oDesk suspends the contractor's account.
